An ambitious redesign

Wong is a leading supermarket chain in the Peruvian market. This redesign meant a whole new era for Wong’s users that will now be able to shop their groceries in the comfort of their homes.

The challenge

A very complex checkout that needed to be made simple

Apart from the obvious challenges of a redesign in terms of branding, and accessibility, Wong’s checkout had a lot of use cases to keep in mind, considering the possibility to split the order and picking the best time for each order.

Our solution

A modular app redesigned to cover orders with a wide variety of products

We needed to come up with a very dynamic app in many ways: It needed to consider both Android and iOS limitations while also being modular enough to work for Wong and Metro’s look and feel.

The result

Complex should not mean difficult

A strong and structured app with a simple and minimalistic approach that covers a lot of checkout scenarios and sets the groundwork for future functionalities that Cencosud may want to add.
