The challenge

A gigantic update with big risk

Ripley came to us with the ambitious challenge of completely updating their electronic funds transfer system or ETFS. Such update required a complete overhaul of their internal systems that also needed to remain operative for their countless users located in Chile and Peru.

Brand new cloud based tech infrastructure

Our team proposed a high impact quantitative and qualitative leap by replacing all actual WS, and instead using high demand microservices that were able to withstand high demands while also keeping their running system operative.

Even tho te project is still ongoing, we have been able to set up proper foundations towards creating a system infrastructure that can withstand the high demand this bank faces on a daily basis while also facilitating the leap towards cloud computing.
